Job alert emails
If you subscribe to job alerts we store your email address and, if signed in, your account ID, only to send you job updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. We never sell or share it with employers or advertisers.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and your membership status. We also record which jobs you open so the service works properly.
Resume and Bloom Score
If you choose to upload a PDF resume, Jobloom sends it to an AI service to extract a profile. We store the extracted profile and the filename, not the PDF itself. We store each job-specific score, its checks and suggestions under your account, plus a history of checks for the daily limit. The AI receives your extracted profile, the job listing and relevant public salary information when you request a score. Replacing your resume updates the profile but does not automatically erase past scores. Do not upload sensitive information you do not want processed. You can request deletion of your profile and score history.
How we use it
Your data is used only to run Jobloom: signing you in, unlocking roles for members, and improving the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and related data at any time.
Data we receive from others
If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. Payment providers tell us whether a payment succeeded and which plan you chose, never your card number.
How we protect it
Data is stored with our hosting and database provider in encrypted form at rest and sent over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the systems that run Jobloom, and premium job details are only released after your membership is checked on our servers.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Job alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data. Where laws such as the GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act apply, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Jobloom is meant for job seekers aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let signed-in users know.
